THUNDER FELLOWS COLLEGE COHORT

Are you enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or graduated from a high school in the Tulsa-area and identify as Black? Apply now for the inaugural collegiate cohort of the Thunder Fellows!




PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Thunder Fellows is a free, application-based, program uniquely tailored to industry standards to ensure proficiency in essential skillsets sought after by recruiters. Thunder Fellows also provides exclusive access to mentors, professional coaching, and immersive experiences to prepare future changemakers for meaningful employment in sports, entertainment, and technology. In order to be considered for the program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Commit to full duration of program (Jan. – June 2023)
  • Attend one monthly in-person professional development session

For the 2022-23 school year, the Thunder Fellows program is open to Black high school students 11th & 12th graders on a space-available basis. In order to be considered for the program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Student must fill out Thunder Fellows application in its entirety by Friday, September 16
  • All three (3) references must submit their recommendations on student’s behalf by Friday, September 16
  • To the best of their knowledge, student must be able to commit to the full duration of The Thunder Fellows program (October 10, 2022 – May 2023)
  • Student must commit to taking personal responsibility for his or her future, working with peers, being intellectually curious, and being resilient in the face of obstacles
